Who We Serve

Our work is most valuable in moments of complexity.

A boutique practice means we work with a deliberately limited number of households. Most of our clients fall into one of three categories — though every situation is its own.

Audience 01

Pre-retirees & Retirees

The decade before and after retirement carries the highest-stakes decisions of a financial life. Withdrawal sequencing. Social Security timing. Roth conversion windows. Healthcare and Medicare. The question of what enough actually looks like for the way you want to live.

We work with people who have done the hard work of accumulation and now want a thoughtful partner for the equally hard work of distribution — helping them turn a balance sheet into a sustainable, tax-aware paycheck without the noise of pundits and product pitches.

Audience 02

Business Owners

S-corp principals, professional practices, and entrepreneurs operate inside a planning environment that few advisors fully understand: pass-through tax elections, reasonable compensation, retirement plan design, succession, and the constant tension between paying yourself and reinvesting in the business.

We work with owners whose personal balance sheet, business income architecture, and retirement plan need to function as a single integrated system — and who want a planning partner who can speak fluently with their CPA, attorney, and benefits consultant.

Audience 03

Families in Transition

Divorce. Inheritance. The sale of a business. The loss of a spouse. These are the moments when financial complexity collides with personal weight, and when clear thinking matters most — precisely when it’s hardest to summon.

We work with families navigating the pivot points where the rules of the game change. Our role is part planner, part translator, part patient sounding board — bringing structure to decisions that have to be made, while leaving room for the ones that don’t need to be made today.

Working with your CPA

Tax planning meets tax preparation.

The best outcomes for our clients come from coordinated work between the financial planner and the accountant. Tax decisions shape investment decisions; investment decisions shape tax outcomes; estate decisions live at the intersection of both. When those conversations happen in separate rooms, important things slip through the cracks.

Our team focuses on tax planning — building strategies, modeling scenarios, and making decisions across the year that put you in the best possible position when it’s time to file. Tax preparation is the work your CPA does, and we collaborate closely with your CPA team so the strategy and the filing stay aligned. If you don’t already have a CPA you trust, we have a long-standing partnership with a respected accounting firm and are happy to make introductions.
